Research & Planning Essay 3 (Target Audience)

Target Audience is probably the single most important thing in the film industry. Without people to pay to view your film your film will gain a loss in money cause the film company to go down. Most likely small independant companies like Cipher for example. My production company targets a more broader audience than a mainstream audience because being a small independant company means you have a low budget and therfore advertising and promoting the video will be to a more niche audience, in my case 15-24yrs old. A real life example would be Adulthood even though it's based on a different genre fiancially its a touch and go production. All the productions (films) have to targeted at a specific audience.
